A Little More About Me

Born in Dallas Oregon, I was primarily raised in Arizona with a brief stop in Oklahoma for a few years before finally “settling” in Lincoln, CA two weeks before my freshman year in high school as a Fighting Zebra. Little did I know the culture shock that awaited me going from homeschooled in Broken Arrow, OK to public school in Lincoln, CA.

Since that time, I have been fortunate to build a diverse background including 20 years in Hospitality and Luxury Client experiences at a world class level, and nearly a decade real estate adjacent (consulting, flips, property management, and more), and more than a decade coaching in various forms.

While I have had the privilege of working with VIP clients including Royalty from 3 different countries and Hollywood Elite (Brad Pitt being the most notable), my heart has always been closer to home. As the oldest of 7 raised in small towns and always serving people in some capacity, it’s no surprise I’ve chosen careers that allow me to do that at higher and higher levels.

I attended William Jessup University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in accounting and a minor in Theology. In addition to my formal education, I’ve spent years developing skills in coaching, negotiation, and change management that help me lead my clients through some of the biggest moments in their lives with confidence and kindness.

I’ve stayed active in my community over the last 24 years. I’ve led local homeless outreach ministries, run basketball camps, participated in/led international humanitarian trips, and taught chess to local homeschool groups.

In my early 20s, I was introduced to my wife on a blind date, and we have been adventuring together since. Shortly after being married, we moved to Egypt so my wife could study Arabic. When she finished her courses, we packed up and backpacked through much of the Middle East, a bit of Africa, and several countries in Europe. In addition to giving me endless stories to dazzle people with, it opened my eyes and my mind in ways I never saw coming.

Other than the 8 months we spent traveling and a few years learning high level hospitality in LA, I’ve lived in Placer County for the last 24 years, and could never have dreamt of bringing world class hospitality to my sleepy little “Stinkin’ Lincoln.”

Right now, I’m privileged to be working as the Head of Hospitality for Omakase Por Favor with the brilliant Chef. Jeana Pecha, and am working with HJ Platinum Realty out of Lincoln. Finally, I’m really excited to be working on some projects with the athletic department with WJU as they make their jump to NCAA D2.

I’m currently living in Roseville, CA with my spouse, daughter, goldendoodle, and cat. I spend as much time reading, hiking, playing basketball, and spending time with family and friends as possible.

Thank you,

Kyle McFerran
